Anchorman 2? I wish.
This is more of a "visual article" but I think that it could facilitate some discussion. It is about sequels that are better than the original!

I don't know if Anchorman 2 would be a great idea because the first movie was such a hilarious film. Anchorman was a typical Will Ferrel film, hilarious. This was such a funny movie, I do not know if the second and movie can even come close to touching the original Anchorman. I think it would be best if Will Ferrel just came out with another idea for a movie, it will probably have as much succes as all of his other movies.
Its not like Will Ferrel has to worry about having anymore success in the movie business because always seems to be making appearancs as a minor role in movies, eventually he will be in another movie with great success. It iis very hard to even name a bad movie with Will Ferrel in it.
Although many sequels have been up there in the ratings, there's nothing like the originals. MANY movies have been EXTREMELY successful in their first movie and then try to outdo themselves in a sequel (usually failing epically). But, I do have to admit that some of the sequel listed in the Top 15 are pretty good.
There are some movies that the first movie wasn't good enough to deserve one following it. An example of this would be ones such as Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace or Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. Both of these movies, and many more, embarrassed their producers. I believe that some movies are better left as a single movie, rather than ruining them with more.
I do think iron man 2 will join the dark night! i think it will be a success by the comercials and since iron man one was so popular it is sure to be a hit.
I dont understand why they arent making an anchorman 2. The movie is still so popular people still quote the movie all the time! i think they are making a big mistake not to have it.
I love it when a sequel tops the first movie. As long as a story line stays constant and doesnt become rediculous sequels are usually sucessful. Batman and star wars are great examples of good sequels because the new movie ties in with the old plot.
Even thought i have not seen all the movies on the list i agree with it for the most part, except for spiderman. I hate those movies because tobie miguire is a nerd.
Hey Everyone! Its wednesday already! Twenty days of school left seniors!Anyways, I believe most of sequals ruin good movies but once in awhile youll get a good sequal to a good movie
Sometimes the firs movie may suck but the sequal is so much better? I hope Avatar makes a sequal just because the movie was so popular and everyone wanted more
